It’s More Than an Attention Deficit
If you’re an adult with ADHD, you may feel that calling your struggles an attention deficit doesn’t begin to capture it. If your only deficit is attention, then why does it feel so difficult to do the things that everyone else seems to do easily? Sure, sometimes sitting down and focusing on a boring task may be difficult for you. But that may be the smallest difficulty that you face every day.
Adults who have ADHD struggle with areas that go far past difficulty “paying attention”. Some of the biggest challenges my clients tell me they struggle with include:
- Procrastination
- Decision making
- Disorganization
- Time management
- Morning/evening routines
- Getting “stuck” (or hyperfocusing) on a task that isn’t where they want to spend their time
- Getting started on tasks that they feel should be easy to do
Some of my clients don’t even know what their trouble areas are. They just know that they can’t seem to do the things they want to do. The good news is that not only can you learn to live with your ADHD, you can learn to conquer these challenges and any others your ADHD throws at you. I can teach you the tools you need to do this and help you navigate the process.
What Adult ADHD Coaching With Me Includes
The ADHD Level-Up program is carefully designed to meet you where you’re at. During the program, I will help you identify your greatest challenges, set individualized goals, and implement the best strategies for you to take you to your highest level of personal success.
The program will have you do hard work both in and out of coaching sessions. But you will notice immediate and long-term payoff from the work you do, and I will be there to help you along the way.
Though you will learn tools that can help you be more productive, the program is not a collection of productivity life hacks. Living a happy and personally rewarding life is more than feeling productive. This program is about learning to feel in control of your life so you are able to enjoy the life that you want.
For $1995 (or 3 monthly payments of $735) you will have access to the complete program, including:
12 weekly 1:1 coaching sessions running 50-60 minutes.
Access to join the weekly planning group sessions with me.
Individualized accountability check-ins from me throughout the week by text and email.
Access to ADHD Level-Up handouts and educational resources.
Use of ADHD Level-Up Accountability / Goal Spreadsheet (Spoiler: this is a biggie).
Session notes, including a review of topics we covered and homework emailed to you, so you can stay fully present during each session.
All 1:1 coaching sessions and Weekly Planning and Coworking sessions take place virtually over Zoom.
What You Can Expect From Online ADHD Coaching
The ADHD coaching I provide differs from counseling and therapy. My focus is teaching you the skills, structures, and techniques that help people with ADHD tackle the barriers preventing them from going through life with ease. The first step is developing a clear picture of how ADHD impacts your life.
Our first session usually takes about 75 minutes. During this session we will work together to clarify your specific goals and needs. We all work better when we have an idea of where we are going. No ADHD brain is the same. Knowing exactly who you are lets me know which tools will help you achieve the lifestyle you want. During this session, I will ask you questions about your past experiences, your current routines, what has and has not worked for you in the past, how you complete certain tasks, what your day/week looks like, and how you like to work.
This information gives me a clear idea on what we need to work on to help you meet your personal goals. I often hear from clients that they feel a weight off of their shoulders from the clarity they get from this session. But this isn’t just a “get to know you”. I will also teach you tools that will immediately improve your life before the next time we meet.
After our first session, you will be learning, implementing, and honing your growing toolset to support you in overcoming the challenges keeping you from thriving. We will troubleshoot any challenges that arise while you grow your skills. Every strategy you learn while working with me will be based on what works for adults with ADHD and be tailored to your unique needs and skills.
Do I Need An ADHD Diagnosis To Receive Online Coaching?
You do not need an ADHD diagnosis to work with me. If you identify with having ADHD and have a readiness to try new strategies, ADHD coaching can be a transformative experience. Our sessions are not used to explore whether or not you have ADHD. If this is what you are looking for, I encourage you to reach out to a professional qualified to diagnosis neurodevelopmental disorders, such as a clinical psychologist, psychiatrist, or your primary care physician.
